Votara is a social polling platform that connects communities through questions and opinions. Whether you are creating localized polls for your city, nationwide surveys, or just asking fun questions to your friends, Votara makes voting simple, secure, and engaging.

We collect essential information to provide our polling service, including your mobile number (used strictly for OTP authentication), username, and optional profile data (bio, profile picture). We also store the votes you cast and polls you create.
Your data is used exclusively to facilitate community interactions, secure your account, and provide relevant local polls. Votara does not sell your personal data or voting history to third parties.
We use industry-standard encryption for data transmission and storage. Your authentication PINs are securely hashed using bcrypt.

By using Votara, you agree not to post abusive, illegal, or highly offensive content. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate community guidelines or manipulate voting systems.
You retain ownership of the polls and comments you create. However, you grant Votara a license to display and distribute this content globally within the app.
Any virtual items (such as Stars or Credits) purchased within Votara hold no real-world monetary value outside of our Leader payout program (which is subject to strict verification and limits). Virtual items are non-refundable.
App Store Compliance: As per Apple and Google's data privacy requirements, users have the right to request the complete deletion of their account and associated data.
Note: Upon deletion, your profile information, PIN, and mobile number association are immediately scrambled and permanently removed from our active systems. Your past votes will remain as anonymous data points to preserve the integrity of completed polls.
